HISTORY

Heartspace Éire is a community and garden based initiative set up originally as Headspace Dublin back in 2013. Over the years, we have hosted many social spaces and gardening, music and art events all over Ireland. As a grassroots movement we have kept info largely off the internet but just wanted to give you a few details here in case you’ve never heard of us and are wondering what we are about.

VIBE

The gathering on Sept 19th is in some magical private land in the vicinity of Irelands heart centre, Uisneach.

We wish to keep the vibe sacred and intimate. This is an alcohol free, vegan/vegetarian and completely offgrid gathering. We are working on getting the freshwater well pumping in time for the gathering (help with this is welcome!), however if we don’t, just like the many previous gatherings on this site(if you are familiar with them), people will be required to bring their own water (recommended 5l per person per day for drinking, washing and tea etc.)

TICKETS

We are a bit old-fashioned and therefore are sending out keepsake physical tickets. To purchase a ticket please send early bird price €100 to Revolut (phone number) 085 2293294 or to Paypal Nayhree@gmail.com for each ticket, along with your name and home address and email address, and your ticket will be posted to you within 7days. We will keep you informed on details such as water and the exact event address during the week 12-19th Sept, by email. If you don’t have Revolut or Paypal please email us and we might be able to meet you somewhere with tickets for cash.

On 12 September 2025 the price will go up to €111 and it will also be €111 on the gate. From September 12 we will not post tickets but put you on our ‘guestlist’, and you will receive your keepsake ticket at the gate. Anyone who receives their ticket in the post must bring it along for entry. If you are planning on coming and are in a position to buy your ticket nice and early, please do, as it will go into infrastructure and help us prepare the land better and quicker. Also please help us to slowly grow by sharing the event with like-minded individuals.

THE MAGIC

The new moon and the equinox fall between the Friday and Monday of the gathering so it will be a powerful time for dancing at a bonfire and transititioning into the gentle slower pace of the colder months, while held and surrounded by nature and the goddess Ériú, whose hometown lies in Uisneach.

PETS/LEAVE NO TRACE POLICY

We are close to a working farm and for that reason we cannot admit dogs or pets. We run a leave no trace policy so please bring whatever you need for self maintenance and comfort, we will issue a suggested list soon. Also because of leave no trace, please be prepared to bring everything home with you afterwards. This beautiful land has been kept unfertilized and purely organic through many generations and we love supporting and maintaining it.

ABOUT

So about the gathering, it is our first of this nature, (just for this year) we are keeping the ticket prices low (4 days for €100), and we are not charging vendors or healers. We want to build a relationship with the right crowd who will respect the land and form connections without the usual overpricing and corporate hoop jumping.

FOOD AND DRINK

A hot , gluten free, vegetarian and vegan breakfast and dinner option will be available each day at a reasonable fee. We will also have a tea, hot drinks, coffee available. It is advisable that you bring your own snacks and lunches/suppers.

FACILITIES

The toilets are compost toilets, there will be no portaloos. There is parking for cars, vans, campervans, but no campervan facilities(no hook up). Awnings etc are fine. There is plenty of space. We will have a normal camping area and a quiet camping area.

PARENTS

Children under 16 are free, under strict parent supervision. Children over 16 will need a ticket. Will you please email the address below and tell us how many children you are bringing so that we can prepare suitably. Please tell us if their age group is 0-10 or 10-16.

TRADING POST

We will also have a trading post area where anyone who has a ticket can bring along items to trade/barter/sell. This is limited to second hand clothing, arts, crafts, plants, seeds, bric-a-brac, home items, equipment etc, unfortunately not food or drink this time. Cash is king and barter is encouraged. We are hoping that the trading post can become a monthly happening.
